Bicycle planning is one of our long-term strengths. Alta’s comprehensive services for bicycle-oriented plans and projects include idea development from the conceptual stages all the way through to happy cyclists enjoying the finished project.
We start with analysis elements such as feasibility and traffic studies, opportunity/constraints, accurate cost estimations and funding strategies, user projection, future benefit analysis and more. We’ll help with public involvement, agency coordination, policy recommendations and implementation strategies. We can design the project, produce the maps and graphics, and coordinate all aspects of bikeway design. When the bikeway project or system is in place, we can monitor use, assess project success and consult on upgrades or adjustments.
We’ve designed forward-thinking, successful bicycle plans and projects throughout the world. Whether it’s making an urban core more accessible to cyclists, creating a network of routes to get riders safely out of the city, or improving cycling opportunities in rural areas, we have the knowledge, the experience and enthusiasm to make communities better places for bikes.
