North Clackamas Community Park, Clackamas (OR)
North Clackamas Park represents the largest community park in the jurisdiction of North Clackamas Park and Recreation District. It is 45-acres in size and is split by a drainage that defines two distinct areas within he park. The south side of the park is primarily parking and ballfields. The north side includes a playground, picnic areas and an ash-oak woodland. Alta worked with the community stakeholders through public meetings, mailings, and use of a website to develop a conceptual plan for the north side of the park. The final plan features riparian restoration areas, dedicated wildlife areas, a new walking path, an improved dog park and a new parking lot.
