In my first job out of school, my focus was on the design and construction of individual buildings. I realized while doing this work that the environment surrounding these buildings – the natural spaces, infrastructure, and cultural fabric – was what truly interested me. A desire to create spaces that weave together communities while providing transportation and recreation choices drew me to working at Alta. I believe that well-planned and well-designed greenways, open spaces, sidewalks, and bikeways play this role in a uniquely effective way, and I love working with communities as they seek to incorporate these elements.

Anne is a transportation engineer and planner with experience planning for and designing on-street bikeways and off-road greenways that connect and enhance communities. Anne’s combined engineering and planning background allow her to design context-based facilities that support vibrant and active communities. Alta creates active communities where bicycling and walking are safe, healthy, fun, and normal daily activities.
