Christo Brehm, ASLA

Imagine everything that has come about following our love affair with the automobile. How we designed our cities, the physical and mental health of individuals, communities, and the planet, and the ways that the poor, those with disabilities, and our elders have experienced our mainstream transportation system. Now imagine all that is coming about following our love affair with the bicycle and the rediscovered art of walking. Think about how we are re-designing our cities, the increased physical and mental health of individuals, communities and the planet, and the inclusive ways that the poor, those with disabilities, and our elders are coming to experience our human transportation system. My commitment to such a transformation of lifestyle and infrastructure begins with the evolving vision that so many now share, includes a personal commitment to embody related values in my own daily life, and by working at Alta, I can get my hands dirty with the daily tasks and projects that are necessary to implement such a vision for a healthier world.
