Carter Smith

Working in the field of landscape architecture, I believe the projects we work on provide the opportunity to activate communities, while at the same time, can stimulate environmental health. The practice of sustainability is an important part of improving communities and quality of life.

After finishing his bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture at Mississippi State University, where he served as the President for the Mississippi Student Chapter of ASLA, Carter has had the opportunity to work on a wide variety of projects in the region. Over the last several years, Carter has gained experience in projects including streetscapes, trails, connectivity plans, campuses, parks, historical restoration, green infrastructure, and mixed-use developments.
