My interest in planning and design probably started when I was a child and I would repeatedly look over a world atlas book on my parents’ bookshelf. I then picked up drawing as a hobby in grade school and developed an interest in plants, horticulture, and forests while growing up. Landscape architecture turned out to be the perfect profession combining all of these interests into one career path.
