David Werner, EIT, PLA

Living in a bike and pedestrian friendly environment has been a great experience for me. After moving to Portland in 2009, I started bike commuting on a daily basis because it was easy and fun. As a professional, I want to design transportation systems that encourage walking and biking.

Biography

David’s professional training and experience includes civil engineering and landscape architecture. He has been an engineer-in-training since 2016 and a licensed landscape architect since 2006. Before joining Alta, David worked on engineering and restoration projects along natural waterways in Oregon, Washington, and California. As a landscape architect, he has done concept design, construction documents, and construction administration for public parks, trails, and streetscapes in Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Missouri, and South Dakota.
