I’ve always been interested in transportation systems. After selling my car and moving to Portland, my focus shifted to non-motorized transportation. I was amazed at the instant quality of live improvement I experienced, and quickly realized I wanted to work on making it easier for people to make the same switch to a car-free lifestyle.
Mike brings a background in active transportation research, data analysis, and GIS. He has a BA in Economics and Politics from Brandeis University and a Masters of Urban and Regional Planning from Portland State University.
