My interest in transportation planning was piqued by traveling around the country and the world. I realized that transportation has a strong impact on place – and that an auto-centric transportation system is not the only option! I find inspiration by exploring places around Minnesota and further afield. Getting out on foot or bike gives me fresh perspectives and ideas to apply to my work.
