Our people make the difference.

Ryan Booth

Ryan is a designer in Alta’s Oakland office. Prior to joining Alta, his work in Landscape Architecture, affordable housing, and civic engagement allowed him to develop a diverse background. Ryan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture. Since graduating he has worked on an array of Landscape Architecture projects, widely ranging in scale and scope. Additionally, he has served multiple terms as an AmeriCorps service member, serving with Habitat for Humanity in California. Ryan has also spent time serving with Bike & Build, where he has planned and led service-oriented cycling trips that benefit affordable housing and empower young adults for a lifetime of service and civic engagement.

“The opportunity to combine my background in landscape architecture and civic engagement with my passion for cycling is what has brought me to Alta. Our mission to promote and create projects of lasting social and environmental value through the design of compelling places is what excites me most about our work.”
